Module 2.3 - Proposal

I want to make an animation focusing on character design. I have been thinking about creating my own race or world. To start off I’m going to test out some different animation techniques. Things I want to attempt are animating a 2D character on a surface that is not flat. I am very into music and I am going to see what different characters I can design while listening to different types of music that stir up different emotions. I will look through Pictoplasma books. For source material and inspiration I am going to look through books and video on cellular organisms and mechanical movement. I will look at arcade games. The outcome will be a short animation.
